Grand Prismatic Spring, Yellowstone National Park, Wyoming

Four Dirty Boots | Exploring, Adventures, and a lot of Walking

There are several must-see attractions in Yellowstone National Park, but perhaps the most beautiful one is the Grand Prismatic Spring. The largest hot spring in the United States, this one features a dark blue center with nearly every color of the rainbow circling its edges. Its official dimensions are listed at 250 by 300 feet, with a depth of over 160 feet. You’ll find it a short (and easy) walk from most of the other main attractions of the park. The crazy natural colors in the spring come from pigmented thermophilic bacteria, which sounds strange, but almost guaranteed to become your favorite sight in the entire park.

Northern Lights, Alaska

Pinterest • The world’s catalog of ideas

Made up of solar particles thrust into our planet’s magnetic field, the Northern Lights, or Aurora Borealis, appear as beautiful waves of green, yellow, blue, and red lights hovering 60 miles above Fairbanks, Alaska. While these majestic lights can be seen from other places in the world, people come to Alaska from all over, even in the coldest, darkest, part of the year, just to get up close and personal with this unique light show in the night sky. If making the trip is on your bucket list, there are companies offering excursions from Anchorage and Fairbanks. Your best chance to see the Northern Lights is between September and April, from 11:30pm-3:30am, which means you’ll be facing some cold temperatures. So dress warmly.

Bryce Canyon National Park, Utah

Bryce Canyon National Park Related Keywords & Suggestions ...

The wondrous, unforgettable scenery at Bryce Canyon brings in over 1.5 million sightseers every year. Visitors to this park are left in amazement at the giant red rock pillars known as hoodoos, which were formed over the course of millions of years’ worth of wind and water, freezes and thaws. The result is something out of an ancient mystic painting. But there’s much more to take in here than the sight of the hoodoos. All year long, you can explore the terrain on horseback, on foot, by bike, or on ATV, with guided tours available for any adventure you embark on. During the winter months, you’ll have additional opportunities to go for a sleigh ride or try cross country skiing.

Whitewater rafting is a perennial favorite activity here, along with hiking through the ancient mountain sub-range. In the spring, there’s a uniquely stunning wildflower tour, which takes you through over 1,600 different species of flowering plants. There are no entrance fees into the park, which is great for a family on a budget. What will life be like under Donald Trump? This Scottish ...

Donald John Trump was born in 1946 in Queens, New York City, the fourth of five children of Frederick C. and Mary MacLeod Trump. Frederick Trump was a builder and real estate developer who specialized in constructing and operating middle income apartments in the Queens, Staten Island, and Brooklyn sections of New York. Donald Trump was an energetic and bright child, and his parents sent him to the New York Military Academy at age thirteen, hoping the discipline of the school would channel his energy in a positive manner. Trump did well at the academy, both socially and academically, rising to be a star athlete and student leader by the time he graduated in 1964.

After graduating college, Trump joined the family business, the Trump Organization. In 1971 Trump moved his residence to Manhattan, where he became familiar with many influential people. Convinced of the economic opportunity in the city, Trump became involved in large building projects in Manhattan that would offer opportunities for earning high profits, utilizing attractive architectural design, and winning public recognition

POLITICAL CAREER

Donald Trump is the ultimate anti-politician, says Neil ...

Trump also harbored political aspirations. In the 2000 elections he expressed his wish to run as a third-party candidate for the US presidency. In 2004 and 2008, he speculated about running for president in the Republican Party and in between in 2006, he considered running for governor of New York as a representative of the party. He again registered as a Republican in 2009 after having registered with the Democratic Party in 2001 and campaigned for it

In 2010-2012, his involvement in politics intensified when he publicly announced his consideration of candidature for presidency again. However, his association with the ‘Birther issue’, a group that firmly believed Barack Obama was not born in the US, disparaged his political reputation. But he continued to be against Obama on various political issues.

In January 2013, he endorsed Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu during the Israeli elections. He was also a featured speaker at the 2013 Conservative Political Action Conference (CPAC)..

In 2001, he completed the Trump world tower, which was a 72-storey residential tower across the UN headquarters. He also began construction on Trump plaza along the Hudson River.

In 2006, he bought the Menie estate in Balmadie, Aberdeen shire, Scotland to create the best golf course in the world on a site of special scientific interest (SSS) but it was met with criticism from environmentalists and by local landowners.
